Welcome to the home page of the
Newham Writers Workshop
The Workshop is a co-operative of writers in the
London Borough of Newham. Our members span the spectrum from beginners
to published writers, from poets to novelists with much other writing
between. To see some examples of our writing click on one of the
anthologies below. We always welcome new members.

Special Announcement:-
Next year Newham Writers Workshop will have been around for 25 years. For the first four years we were
Forest Gate Writers Workshop but we moved to Plaistow and took over the Eastside...
We intend to Celebrate by publishing a "Best of ..." book containing some of the best bits from our annual Anthologies.
We also hope to launch the book at a "Writing Day" at St John's Church on Saturday 21st May 2011.
